Historically those who didn't fit in to society went to a monastary.
If you couldn't hack it as a nobleman, warrior, craftsman, farmer, etc... you'd become a monk.
Surely there are still monastaries in the world which would take you.

Thats not how it was historically. you can look up modern monasteries in Russia or Greece and see. They grew their own food, made their own tools, clothes and so on.
