I'll try for my license at least once, but there's no guarantee because god damn do I suck.Do people just "pick it up" right away? Because it's not coming to me. Take comfort in the fact that you're not where you were a year ago. For the longest time, I was terrified of even starting to learn. Being a (cautious) shitty driver is a step up from never being behind a wheel.

I suck at things but I'm proud of myself for breezing through the process and getting my license on the first try.
Just be practical about it. If you suck at parking, practice it and memorize little cues of when the car is lined up with what so you know when to stop turning and such. Most driving is just staying in your lane and watching your speed.

You can buy blindspot mirrors so you can judge if you're to far away from the kerb.

Had to do this on my driving exam, my instructor taught me to first line up your car with one that is already parked, reverse and when your side mirror reaches the backdoor you start turning to 45 degrees, then straighten up and then when you have enough clearance you just turn the steering wheel the other way till your in the parking spot. Blind spot mirrors will also help with this.

i passed my test 1st of june and i think that was because i went slow, practice allot on my dads car and have ridden motorcycles for three years on the road, so i know how cars are going to act around me

That's about the same as when I was learning, also with 2-3 month gaps. You need to be able to practice more regularly, every day (or night) if possible. The more you do it, the faster you'll get over it. Otherwise, yeah, it'll definitely end up taking a year or so. If you don't already, I recommend practicing at night - a lot less stress/anxiety since there's pretty much no one else on the street, giving you a little more time to focus on your actions.
I always found driving to be pretty comfy. Especially the interstate; you can just listen to the sounds of the highway and move along at whatever speed you like

Ive been driving for 15 years now, I can keep straight while shitposting on my phone with music blaring and sometimes a drink in the other hand, steering with my knee.
