What was your decent into Schizophrenia like?
Terrifying. I can feel my mind start to slip away and there's nothing I can do it about it. My meds aren't even working properly anymore.
Well I donno about my decent, but my descent was pretty mellow. In so much that it slowly happened, and without realising I was totally fucked.
No major episode were I switched into crazy mode
I was one of the rare people who had it as a child. I'm much better nowdays, I used to hardly even be selfaware of reality. I still struggle but it's not nearly as bad as when I was younger.

I had schizotypal symptoms as a kid, but I think I have some advanced level schizotypy where all my irrational paranoia are actually rational paranoia because I can find real world justifications for them
It was magical. I was convinced because so much magic was happening around me that I'd be accepted into Hogwarts any day.
Can someone explain what having schizophrenia is like to me?
I don't really know anything about it. Not what it does to you or anything. I've tripped acid and lost understanding of reality for maybe seconds at a time, and from what I've heard, acid can trigger it.
