You didn't change my mind. Our society makes it seem like if you don't go to a traditional college you'll do horribly, when in reality you can do so many other things and be perfectly fine. College is for people who wanna work office jobs or something similar. Many people genuinely don't want that, and can do the thing they're passionate about through simple trade schooling.
Also, how very lucky for you to have enough money already in the family to afford your entire schooling costs without loans, however for a vast majority of people, college will actually end up being detrimental to them financially due to how far in debt they will inevitably end up. For the average person, it's much more viable to go to a cheap community college or trade school/ technical college.
