That's what always happens. The large increase from the water pressure will go back to normal after a few hours. However if you keep doing this for a long period of time, your dick will get larger and larger over time.
Think of it like training your muscles. You won't get insta-gains after working at the gym a few times, you'll look and feel better, your muscles will be more noticeable but no real gains. If you continue after long periods of time, you get those gains.
