Hi robots. This is to anyone on disability in Canada. First off, I'm not here to write about how hard my life is, and how woe is me. I just need to know how to get on odsp. I'm extremely depressed, and about to get kicked out of my dads house. I've been on EI for the past couple of months, and it's about to run out. If this doesn't work out, my only other option is suicide or be homeless.
Thank you to anyone who's taken the time to read this, i know you probably have a harder life than i do, and worse problems.

Sorry that r9k isn't as feely as it used to be. I don't know anything about getting on odsp, or what that is actually. If you cry "I was thinking about suicide maybe" to a therapist or mood disorder person, and ask to try odsp, that might work. I shows that you want to try something, and that they probably should try it just because you might kill yourself, it gives urgency. I dunno if this will work, but it's worth a try, I'm getting tested for autism because I asked to, not sure if ccommenting on existentialism and anhedonia had anything to do with their decision.

You could also get the government to kill you, didn't the supreme Court allow for assisted suicide but without strict terms?

I also have many of the signs of autism, hand wringing, sensitivity to certain textures, and general aspieness with people. Should i even mention this? How far will i have to go to prove this? like have family come in and shit? (i don't talk to any of my family now)

Definitely mention the autism, it's called autismbux after all. Go see a mood disorder, or any counselor part of a mental health facility, get your parents, or yourself, to go to a few sessions (for me it was free), mention autism, tell them your conditions, and if they think you might have it (of if you want to get checked for curiosities sake), they'll send a referral to a specialist to get you an appointment. The wait time is pretty long tho, my appointment is in November

I'm in Canada it takes a while to actually get on disability benifits, plus I know if I do get it it won't help me with doing something meaningful. I'm probably gonna get assisted suicide since its legal in Canada now.
