Hey /r9k/, im a highschool senior and my gpa is a 3.5 unweighted but my weighted is a 3.95 (took AP). This question is mainly toward college students, but do college only consider your unweighted? I dont wanna be rejected from my dream schools because i fucked up my freshman year.

Fuck im screwed. How is that fair tho cuz anyone can get a high gpa in the remedial classes but it takes a driven person to get A's in AP

>bitching about anything above a 3.0
Get the fuck out of here normalfag, you're literally fine.

No, colleges definitely look at weighted.

How in the actual fuck do you take enough SO to get bumped up 1/2 a grade point? I took every available AP I could, and was only put ahead by 0.2

*AP, not SO dammit
If your goal is a public US university, anything above a 3.0 will basically guarantee you entry. At mine, a 3.5 or higher GPA in highschool gets me a free ride as long as I retain a 3.0 in college. Feels good because I never slacked off in highschool like most people, and was always told those years didn't matter.

Colleges will usually look at your weighted. Especially if your ACT/SAT scores are decent, you should be fine at places that aren't like absolutely top tier (Harvard, Stanford, etc.).

What was your grade in the class?
