I just don't understand.
I look around and everywhere I see the same sentiment:
>"that today is the best day to be a human, and that it can, and will, only get better". "that this is the greatest time to be alive, and that nothing else compares".
Why then, do I and so many others feel so intensely sorrowful, and inadequate-in everything we do?
Why am I totally and completely unable to make a real, lasting, and meaningful connection with anyone? When others do it so simply, and so completely naturally.
I fake every encounter, nearly every expression, and I hardly ever actually laugh at what they have to say.
I just don't understand. It shouldn't be this way.
