unless you live in a huge country like america or do international transport truck driving is only like 50% of the job, the rest is loading, unloading, paperwork, onboard computers and shit. Oh and lots of traffic jams

I know a total ex-robot who got a job driving trucks. Married now, kid on the way, house and 2 cars. Not bad, considering he spergs hard whenever he opens his mouth.
