Why don't you robots just play EVE online? It's by far the deepest MMO experience out there, and it perfectly fits both the NEET's and wagie's time schedules because it can both be autistically played 23.5/7, or just checked once a day.
It's a punishing and hardcore sandbox where you can be anything from a manipulative spy to a space terrorist.
I'm surprised it's not mentioned on this board more often.

Planetary interaction, trading, scamming.
You can basically do anything once a day (or a week) if you like, the things I listed above just take the shortest time.

Bullshit. EVE is a very social game. Unless you're in a corporation and actively contributing, you're gonna have a boring time.

It's free provided you can collect enough in-game currency each month. How hard this is depends on a number of factors - new players generally have to play a lot to cash out their first month with in-game currency, experienced players can generally do it with little effort.

Yes. Smuggling is kinda arguable because there's usually no need to "smuggle" things as opposed to just moving them.

It's a very strange game in that regard. You have huge-ass corporations with 1000s of people and an entire political systems, but you also have a bunch of lonewolf players left and right. And everything in between.

You can blow other players up and steal their loot, or make them eject their ship under the threat of destruction. Most people are very untrustworthy, but sometimes there are amazing space ransom moments.

If you want a space game that you can play solo and not pay a sub, try Star Trek Online.
I liked EVE. But the sub makes you feel so obligated to play it all the time. And dodging the sub in-game turns it into a job.

You need to get a better setup going desu. Even with PLEX prices being around 1 bil, you can still easily make that in a relatively short amount of time by trading, wormholing or good PI/industry setups.

Don't project bro. 90% of what I do has nothing to do with getting money for my sub. I just kill sleepers every 7 days to cover that, and do PVP the rest.

It's a fairly old game that looks pretty on highest settings, but can be downgraded quite a lot, so you could probably do it.

If you start getting into this game now it's nearly pointless. It takes so much time and effort to get anywhere, you're going to be years behind everyone.
