Stop shampooing your hair everyday. Shampoo it every other day and rinse with water on the days you don't shampoo. Washing it with cold water helps because hot water dries it out.
Use conditioner. Don't use hair gel, it dries out your hair. If your hair is naturally messy or curly like mine and you need styling gel use leave-in conditioner. Its like hair gel but won't make your hair look gross or dry it out.
Vitamin shampoo can help a lot but it's kind of expensive.
