What causes oneitis?
I've had 3 oneitises and none of them were 10/10. 2 of them were probably 7s and the last was a flat chested 5 at most. So why did my brain choose them?

My oneitis is a girl in LA that I've never met.
However, due to a tumblr blog that extends back to 2011 that she posted on multiple times every day, I've got a huge log of her innermost thoughts that she thinks nobody that knows her has read. The year I was NEET after I dropped out of college I laid in bed for 5-6 hours a day just daydreaming scenarios of me and her - I've built an actual alternate reality, a year long, in my head that I'm too invested in to forget about. And she doesn't even know I exist.
It's pathetic, I know, but she's all I've got.

Finding another new one is a good way but that's generaly not an easy thing to do. I just shut down emotionally and try to get rid of any feelings i have for her.
