I have played Silent Hill 3 multiple times, but I never really get how people consider her a waifu. She barely gets any dialogue. Like every Silent Hill game the MC is a expressionless .

I've played the game about 15 times over, and I can tell you that all the MCs of the first three SH games, while they don't get too much character defining dialogue, they are unique as you can tell from the text you receive from their interactions with objects/items and so on. I could go on all day about it, but suffice to say Heather has a good sense of humor, is most definitely pure, and is very protective of her dad. The less daddy issues a girl has the better.
Also a lot of my like for her is just because I'm a massive Silent Hill fan, and she happens to be the cute main character in a Silent Hill game, and I like that.

When she finds the corpse in the subway she talks about how she's just completely, completely numb to all the stuff going on because of how terrible it is, so that explains it a little. But I'll agree, some of her comments are a little out of place but I always found it gave her a very likable personality.
I'm not a big Downpour fan, but I agree with that. He actually yells, screams, asks what's going on, and that's a detail Downpour gets right. However, at some points it's unintentionally hilarious as Murphy will just be running like normal, nothing huge going on, just running from the red orb, but his screams will keep repeating and looping in a way that can sound comedic 2bh.
