I was raised Christian so the church is just comfy to me. You won't find a more loving and accepting people. It's worth it for the community alone. Escaping eternal damnation and hellfire is just a nice bonus at this point. I guess there's no reason a bunch of atheists can't get together and have cookouts, volleyball, or softball. It might even be fun to play against them. I love the idea of intereligious sports leagues. It would be a chance to make more friends and maybe an opportunity to witness to them.
