WoD is utter crap, MoP was a bit better. Only did 1st raiding tier in Cata and then quit until Mop. WotLK was good up until ToC. TBC was god tier until Sunwell. Vanilla was the best time of my life.

Everything post-TBC was cancer.
It fucking hulled out the true spirit of the game. It killed both PvE and PvP by needing to appeal to casualfags.
They added retarded races and classes that don't make sense.
They raped the lore for OOOOMMMMGGG EEEEEEEEPIIIIIIIIIIIICNESSSSSSSS casaulfag feel. While you actually felt you were a part of the world in vanilla and TBC.
Vanilla will never return. It was the only true form of WoW and it was perfect in its simplicity. Its rough edges made it so wonderful. I've had some of the best moments of my life playing that game.
You have to be a true masochist with 0 taste to still enjoy this abomination.

I really do miss mop, for me it was similar but on playing a warrior, there was nothing that was more satifsfying then beating multiple people at the same time that had the sole intent of killing you

Remembering that expansion legit pissed me off- it's like it started as simple baby steps, and then it kept giving you baby steps after baby steps of dungeons and quests, and then you hit lvl 100 and could go to the demon infested part of draenor. Even the final fucking boss was dumbed down.

keep an eye out for Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen, my friends. There are a bunch Everquest 1 guys on the team and it looks to be an actual MMORPG. Haven't seen one of those in a while.
