>be engineer

>pretty much perfect record in general

>ZERO fucking replies
Holy fucking shit, what do you have to do to get even a fucking reply to an application these days? I can't imagine how bad it is for someone who doesn't have jack shit for experience. I have fucking 3 years and yet "entry level" shit I'm seeing now is asking for 5 years? That's not entry level, how does that make any fucking sense? The job market is so fucked up. Being a wagie is shit.

welcome to the global economy, where a poo in loo will work for 10% of your wage

Kek at engineers
I'm over here doing accounting and having to fight off recruiters on a regular basis

Why the fuck did you quit your job before having another one lined up retard?
>>29199105
What kind of engineer are you, OP?
>>29199178
Why do you assume he quit his job?
>A fucking leaf
Oh. That's right.

Let me introduce you to something called "downsizing"
i.e. you can be working just fine at your job and your company decides to close a thousand person plant in an instant because some rich asshole decides he wants to cash out.
The world is pretty fucked.

My friend graduated with a mechanical engineering degree. An entire year has passed since he graduated and he STILL can't get a job. He never gets responses. He's very talented as well (like he's kinda autistic and can solve complex engineering problems in his mind without writing anything down).
But yeah it looks like the job market is shit for this career and I feel legit sorry for the good engineers.
