I had just done my first gig with this band I was in, had seen a girl I at the time really lusted for get banged by a friend in a toilet and had realized how pathetic and empty the music, the scene, the friends at the time and whole scenario was. We weren't going anywhere, and everything we had done was useless, stupid and was doomed from the first time we had rehearsed. I picked up my things and went home, took one photograph to remind myself to never return to that place, which is the place I don't want to return that exist in my head.

Went to Duluth about a week back so I got a few good looking pics of Lake Superior and the surrounding areas. Something about chilly, overcast days really makes me feel comfy though so that would explain why this pic in particular stood out to me.

Minnesotafag here, saved. Duluth is cozy in general but overcast days make it so great.
I went hiking with two friends along the Temperance farther north. It was a week long hike, and of course it was raining every single day. They kept griping about the wet and pined with fear of hypothermia, and got all bitchy and wouldn't stop arguing about stupid shit. It was cozy as fuck for me though. I had to dry all our things over a fire most nights while they hid in the tent, laying in a puddle wondering why they were cold.
