The trick is to be obviously deranged until the government caves and gives you free money.
>>
>>29198026

Yes, it's not part of our SOP to search for drugs or drug paraphernalia. You can take as much dry food as you want just don't try and hide it, that's how you get caught. People hide their weed in vapers, batteries, inside of boxes, taped to something or even in the seams. That makes it odd and stand out on an x-ray if there's just some brownies or even a straight up bag of weed chances are we won't call it for a bag check.

Probably. I notice most of the people who shop hear say "I've always gotten my X from sears"
It's all nostalgia. Prices are usually better elsewhere, and the way they're dealing with online is stupid.

Plus, if you don't have the stupid Sears membership on 85% of customers, you're getting yelled at.
They want me to ask ~3 times to sign non-members up. I see people get agitated around the second time 90% of the time, but it's sears, you gotta push it.

Yeah its sad that its mostly old people and low income who shop at those kind of places since they dont know any better. And the stupid sears card thing is overkill. I worked in Jewelry back at Sears and it was so fun being the only person there most of the time. Then waiting on late coworkers to cover your lunch only for you to get written up because you had to wait on them and no one else wants to watch jewelry. All this and my floor manager still had the nerve to call me the lazy one when I was the only person who actually attempted to care about that shitty job.

>>
>>29199815
Yes, but they were all McJobs and also I'm older so this was mostly all before everything went digital.

These days some places actually won't accept physical CVs/resumes and do everything online (like my local wal-mart), but the "just go in there and ask to talk to the manager and give him a firm handshake" meme actually still does work.

Probably moreso now since everyone else just fills out an online form and then waits for the callbacks to come flooding in. Showing up in person and making a (positive) impression gives you an edge. Also of course some places still do it the old-school way and won't have some shitty form for you to fill out on their website, just show up and bee yourself.

If you have a good tolerance for math, boredom, and idiots, tax law is probably pretty comfy. You mostly do audit-prep and help people get their shit into tax loopholes, you never have to litigate, and everything can take its time unless it's right around tax season.

But that's an educated guess. I hated tax law class myself, and was kind of looking for something with litigation, which tends to be high stress but fun by my book.

senpai the meme is that American money IS the monopoly money, because it design and material hasn't changed in like 200 years while other countries have plastic money with holograms and images and raised ink and braille numbers on them, etc.

The first time I saw an American dollar while working a fast food job I had to check with my manager if this was real or not.

It's just this paper-like white & green plain barebones image for all bills, so it looks like Monopoly money.

Well until you figure out what you want to do for the rest of your life its kinda hard to pick something. Earlier in the thread I posted that I work for Whole Foods and its alright. They pay more than most places, the discount is nice and they treat employees better that other stores.

Only downside is that you gotta deal with the prudish customer base. Also Costco or Sam's Club is always a good place to work.

Do you need a degree or experience for that or something? Are CompTIA worth it? I think I can get an A+ soon.
How is everybody getting compsci jobs? I can barely see any on the market and the ones that do require fucktons of experience.

Does that fuck up your lungs or pay well? There's a place for that near me but I don't want to become an asthmatic.

Nah, the only time you encounter dust at my job is when youre cleaning the floors. The pay is shit and i hate the job, i would much rather work as a programmer but i guess people who like to build "real things" using hammers and saws would love working at a concrete factory. We recieve schematics, build the foams, apply concrete and isolation.

US dollars are closer to cloth than paper. Very sturdy and can be folded thousands of times. Some are getting holographic flashy stuff, to fight counterfeiters. But everything is classic green. None of that gay rainbow colored plastic shit you use. When I open my fat wallet, I get hard. When you open yours, you get shrinkage.

I probably had already gotten fired. My boss hasn't contacted me for five weeks...

University is meh, I'm failing in a lot of my classes (currently in exam week now), and I might get kicked out of my pure maths degree. I'll try to get into another uni for maths, or collect my credit points and do compsci units; graduate with a compsci degree.

I had dreams of becoming a Maths Professor, but I lost the passion/motivation for it; Maybe, not having friends, or a gf made it seem more unmotivating/uninteresting...

All in All, I want to work from home as a potential freelance programmer. Goal is to work less and a have stable income. I'd rather be free than be rich working super hard lol. I feel like hardwork is sometimes unnecessary...

Accomodation management in a refugee camp. Basically putting people in huts and seeing that they don't kill each other.

Have worked in:
-Airport (Host for a cruise company, picking up tourists and such)
-Italian restaurant (first job as dishwasher)
-College dorm (once more, accomodation management but in a smaller scale)
-Inventory guy(?) in clothes stores. You list all the articles with a scanner. Repetitive and dull, but a great job if you're a robot. Did also an inventory for a museum, pretty neat.
-"Quantity control" in a catering firma. Just had to open the trays and see that the cooks put the correct ammount of food for delivering, then go with the truck driver and give the food to hospitals/schools. Comfiest job I've had imo. Free food, chill older colleagues and benefits.
