Ever seen Chinese or Japanese girls? They don't have braces over there. Plus they don't think straight teeth are important for looks (yet). But that's what human teeth grow in looking like.
I think Europeans, at least, might have naturally straighter teeth by default, but it's hard to tell because so many of us get braces as kids.
