>See myself in the mirror and look handsome
>Take a picture of myself and I don't look as good as I thought.
Which one is the true me?
you know the one you see reflected in the darkened monitor when you shut your computer off?
that's you
You prefer it because you're used to seeing yourself as you are in the mirror- flipped- but not as you are in photographs. Since everyone else is used to seeing you unflipped, the attractive mirror you is more representative of how you appear to others.

The lens does a slight fish eye version of you and is inaccurate
Neither, both are your own perceptions. You will never be able to perceive yourself as others perceive you
I'm a 6'3 140 lbs dyel lanklet. Many girls find me revolting, but at the same time some girls find me so attractive they can't think straight.
I look in the mirror and just see an ugly cheeki breeki Ivan Ivanovich slav. I take a picture and see the same thing, I'm just not photogenic. How could anyone find it attractive? self hatred and insecurity makes me think they're just playing me, but I'm always told its genuine and I've missed my chance.
The thing is, a photo or a mirror will never capture your natural behavior, your mannerisms or a natural laugh and smile. It won't capture the way you hold yourself or your work ethic.

Same. I generally shrug off girls who claim to like me because they seem out of my league; i think they are making fun of me. I'm over 6' average looking but sort of a nerd.

brah, there is an actual, definitive non-self-pitying answer to this question, and it's

What if I have multiple mirrors and I see the reflected reflection (which would match the real me)?

Why do you think that post is self-pitying? Its realism at best.
Why do normies always think a lack of mindless self-gratification is self-pity?
