The cosmic power just sounds like a recipe for perpetual discontent and misery. I would be inclined to take it anyway and make the world a better place but it would seem completely fake and unreal to me at that point. It's just too much power: too isolating, too wide open, too many possibilities.
Meanwhile with the little girl route I could become a little elf loli and live for like a thousand years, starting out by playing doctor with other cute elf lolis, growing into a fine-ass elf babe, and ending up as a powerful litch who wields great (but limited) power and cheats death.
