I too tried to moderate her. Was talking with her about it, telling her when she loses control. I was too really jealous person before i get my GF, so I know how she felt. But that was extreme. In one moment she was insulting me with worst curses and telling to gtfo when I talked to someone, in second she was begging me to come back and apologizing.
I was close friend of her for four - five months, I known her for four years. There was at least six people in that time, that tried to moderate her. All of them failed.
Imagine instability, obsessivness and insanity based on emotion, without any sign of logic. This is not something that you can "moderate". It's something that should be killed with medicines or a long years of medical treatment by psychiatrists.

And you can't even ran away because this is your friend and she could ruin your social life with lies.
She was really weird person. She told me that she loves me one time - when I found women that became my GF later. But she was histeric and I known she tries to manipulate me. Before there was some flirting and talking about sex, but she always treated me like a friend. Close friend. Very close friend that shouldn't speak with other people and that should be on her every wish.
