It's just a pill that you take every morning. Finasteride is more about keeping what you have and preventing more future loss, not so much regrowth. It works by blocking 70% of DHT. Dutasteride is the more potent version of finasteride, it blocks 90% of all DHT.

it costs me 120 british pounds for six month supply for generic finasteride(aindeem). If you use propecia it's a lot more expensive but they are boty the same thing basically. If you're really cheap you can even get proscar and cut it using a pill cutter. You need a prescription to get on finasteride from a medical professional.
