We waste so much time watching, reading and playing in alternate worlds. Today, it finally hit me that no matter what I do, and no matter how hard I try, I can never be in these worlds I spend most of my life observing. How do I deal with this feel robots?
go outside
please accept this offering, great roboto
You can, just take psychedelic drugs before playing video games or watching anime.
I mean it's either that or just kill yourself.

Even if i go outside, it can only distract me for so long from all the better alternative worlds.

If you have technical skills: go help develop VR
If you do not have technical skills: begin saving up for VR.
It's happening in our lifetime, lads. Get ready.

try and learn to be alright (note: you don't have to think the world is happy or good or anything) with your real life. escapism never works, because you have to return to real life, and it hurts all the more when you do.
>get money
>live in VR

but if you just have enough money you never need to return
a fictional world is as real as you, the subject of the fantasy, wants it to be. in a very real way suspension of disbelief and immersion in fantasy is a kind of sunjective, solipistic reality. it's a brief delusion you experience that was temporarily REAL to you.
the universe is your basic thing, everything else is just wild fucking magic at work.
>tfw been reading Berserk for the first time and it's making me want to get into art so I can build my own world to escape into
Idk but being high makes vidya/animu more immersive, esp on visual psychs like 2cb/ci
