What did you do on the Internet before you found 4chan? I'm talking late 90s/early 2000s era?
Pic related for me, spent so much time watching Flash stuff and playing games on ABS.
ABS, and Newgrounds. I found 4chan through the Newgrounds BBS actually.
mostly on IRC then later browsed SA as well.

2002 - Newgrounds, discovered porn
2003 - Newgrounds and Habbo
2004 - Newgrounds, Habbo, Neopets
2005 - Habbo and Maplestory
2006 - World of Warcraft
2007 - Found 4chan
Newgrounds, Neopets, Miniclip,porn

There were a lot of different sections. One for discussing the show, one for fan art/fanfiction, one for role-playing, etc. I don't remember all of them. The most active section was always the off-topic one, though. We'd all just talk about whatever, video games, movies, anything.
