turns out loperamide actually crosses the blood brain barrier if you take enough milligrams. I tried it for the first time the other day it actually got me rather high and itchy as hell for 3+ hours. I took like 50 mg or something. granted, I was still coming off the dxm so there was a bit of potentiation
