It honestly makes me feel amazing (We should always feel this way), I've only recently discovered it, but seriously if you do not drink coffee you need to start.

m8, a 16 ounce Monster has over ~12x the amount of sugar typically used in a 12 ounce mug of coffee. assuming i do 36 ounces of coffee a day, it'd take 4 days before i had as much sugar as a single 16 ounce Monster

From my experience, this is usually because people drink energy drinks fairly slower than coffee, so it's definitely more steadily dosed than coffee. caffeine pills are the ultimate end-game though (~$3 for 40 x 200 mg tablets, and they last 4-6 hours). they don't have nearly as many of the health benefits as proper coffee though
I love the stuff but I left some in my French press before going on a trip and it molded over and the screens are ruined. It's as old 70s or 80s actually French French press too. I tried cold brew heated up and it's better but I enjoyed the ritual as much as anything. Also I can't get my favorite brand of beans anymore and when you drink it as coffee the beans actually make a difference.

boyo, you can buy a decent/good 12 ounce bag of grounds for $5-10 (varying with sales & coupons) and that makes a little over 30 cups. it's even cheaper if you're buying whole beans
kcups are the absolute worst in terms of cost. iirc, you're paying 4-5x as much money, only for the convenience. that's not even including the initial investment in buying the $100+ machine that you need to even use the kcups
one of their machines (the 2.0 i think?) even included fucking DRM that made it so the machine could -only- read keurig cups. from what I heard, a work-around was figured out fairly quickly, but that's the level of jewry behind keurig

yeah, I initially tried them back in 2014, and still always keep some on hand considering how dirt cheap they are. they aren't as initially intense as coffee, but they metabolize at ~1/2 the rate & last much longer. Kroger has a store brand version that's like $3.09 for 40 tablets that are 200 mg each.
i mostly like them when I know i'll be away from home for an extended time. plain caffeine powder (not pressed into tablets) is even cheaper than tablets, but you gotta be a lot more careful about measuring doses. to me, the tablets are cheap enough to where I don't mind paying a few more cents on each dose, to have the dose measured out & pressed into a tablet for me
