I literally can't believe how hard that game was. Off the top of my head, the level where you have to escape all those cops in the slums, and some turret rail-shooter level. There were a lot more too that my mind has probably repressed.
TimeSplitters 2 maybe. Made by the same dudes that did Goldeneye. It's health and armor based and is a bitch on Hard mode. Most of it is just knowing map layouts and how to handle them. Despite the fact that they upgraded to two analog sticks, the aiming system is still really shitty, like Goldeneye but you can move while you aim (which isn't a good thing necessarily). The first play through usually includes a Lot of dying and questioning whether or not to restart the level completely because you didn't properly use the available health and ammo sources. They do have a checkpoint system but it's not nearly as reliable as that of the Halo series as example.

Trauma Center UTK 1 and 2 for the Nintendo DS. Dark Souls, I Wanna Be the Guy-fuck those. No game ITT comes close to the level of difficulty these games put my pasty middle-school ass up against. They're comparatively easy. Sure, you could beat the main campaign with crappy ratings without being particularly fast or dextrous, but getting an XS ranking on the X-missions in these games required you to use two styli, or really two mechanical pencils with the leads taken out. I'm ambidextrous and that shit was still rage-inducing. Carpal-tunnel-inducing, even. Bullet hell games are easier.

The hardest game i ever played OP was STALKER:CoP w/misery mod on the"dark road" difficulty.It must have taken me 87 hrs to complete the game compared to 6 hr. vanilla.It was rly hard because during the day you get radiated and fucking fried quick and at night there are shitloads of mutants around to mess you up,but its so worth it when you crouch by that fire after a day finding shit to sell to buy wodka and sum boolits .

The main game is mostly a joke. The hardest story boss is fucking Blood Starved Beast, the THIRD boss, with everything after being laughable if you know how to parry/stagger. The last bosses are especially pathetic, with Wet Nurse using the same tactics as the fucking pigs, Gherman being just a hunter fight like countless others you already did, albeit with great atmosphere, and Moon Presence being potentially the easiest boss in any Souls game, literally asylum demon tier

Back when they were all the rage on /jp/, we beat the extra modes without sweating too much. Then again most of us had been playing them since the first ones so you get used to it very quickly. NFS Underground 2 Hard difficulty on PC with keyboard. AI rubberbanding/catch up is so crazy, you can't win a fair race. Random Civic outruns my Supra, then goes in to the 90 degress bend at 150km/h. Then there's spots on map where they randomly start crashing into the wall, but eventually with wizard magic they catch me up again. Feels like you're shit all the time. Had to reselect difficult on some races just to win any place 1 of 3.
