Been the wallpaper on my phone for a while. This is comfy. I go skiiing with my family once a year (we save like motherfuckers and enjoy ourselves once a year.) We stay in a cabin like this. We do it around Christmas. Once a year, usually for five days, we feel real comfy. It's cold but being with family around a fire playing board games is really comfy. Wish you all well tonight.

I live in the northeast, one night before I could drive, I was walking home across the small city I live in to get back to my friend's house I was staying at. The thing was, it was the middle of winter and a steady snow had built up all evening so when I started walking at midnight, it was already 10 inches deep even on the roads.The entire 5 mile walk I had on some nice Sennheisers listening to https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WYwGKXz6dDE and the like. The streets were empty, I did not see a soul. Emergency vehicles and plows didn't drive by. The road was littered with huge white mounds that were abandoned cars. It was normally a very busy route I walked but No one could drive, Along the way, there is a rather large park called Hamilton. The snow was completely smooth, a complete blanket over the landscape. Untouched as far as you could see. The sky was filled with thick low clouds, a constant, yet slow snow absorbed all the sound waves.The silence was so complete after I muted my music. It's amazing how sound is deadened when everything is covered like that.
The clouds themselves weren't dull grey though. They had a vibrant brown orange glow to them. I think it may have been a full moon that was just reflecting light over the clouds. I can't find an image like it on google, but it was very different than other storms I've been outside for. I walked across the park, over a snow clogged bridge that spanned a still moving brook. The banks of snow on each side were almost touching over the middle in some places, but you could still see the icy cold water flowing and trickling down the hill. There is a path that goes up the hill or down out of the woods towards a big field. The field was a huge expanse of virgin snow, with the huge ceiling of rolling luminescent clouds churning like waves and a thick, methodical curtain of snow descending all across it. The crescendos in my music, ugh. I need to do this again

One winter I left work at night during a snowstorm and nobody else was on the roads. I don't think I was ever more comfy, or slept any better, than when I was cuddling my normie tumblr gf. All I had was my twin size bed, and a couple blankets in the middle of an awful midwest winter. We used to watch anime and then listen to music while we slept. There's nothing about that relationship I miss more than falling asleep with her in my arms. I did acid with a friend of mine on a rainy summer night in Florida. We sat on a front porch before the storm and as we were reaching our peak the tension in the air as the storm built and the wind picked up brought a sense of calm over the both of us. We went for a walk to a small strip of road where there are a lot of shops and their neon lights were all still on, we were particularly fixated on this cyan light.
