Help me /christians/ of 4chan i abandoned my confirmation (evangelic ritual to get into the community)
We had to camp behind the church the night before, i had to camp with an emo/goth kid, i was scared of him so i left the camp to go home. I was an 14 year old normie.
Whole of the church searched for me they almost called the police.
After that i continued to pray, but it faded away, that feeling of connection to god... i never feeled this divine holy feeling of connection to the world again.
I stopped praying with 17.
Now i am 21, and im down, i have major depression, general anxiety disorder, can't even go outside.
We have a strong christian community in the village, but i just am to scared to go outside.
I want to pray again, but everytime i try it i just feel emptyness, it feels just.. sad, empty.
Is there any good prayer to start with? Or..or maybe you could pray for me?

How do I reach a closer connection with God when I've recently up until now got into an atheist/agnostic phase and I realize that the existence of God and the things that "disprove" it such as science are not mutually exclusive and can coexist together. I'm willing to put my faith back in God, but I don't know the first step. The closest Orthodox parish is a neighbouring town and even then, I don't know how it'll be because I've been raised Catholic for all my life.
