Libertarianism comes out of the same headspace as communism, it would work perfectly IF AND ONLY IF mankind weren't inherently way too manipulative and greedy. Any attempt at libertarianism would quickly devolve into anarcho-capitalism, which would be fine too if you ignore the likely very high mortality rate of anarchist regions.
That being said I think the libertarian ideals are virtues that more people should strive towards in everyday life, instead of reliance on the government.
