I have always hated facebook. I used to be a heavy user anyway because it was the best way to reach some people, but now I just have one because it's the only way to be in touch with some people, especially international contacts.

I had a Facebook account back in early high school (I think I created it in 2007 or 8).
I used it a lot to begin with and added everybody I could, because at that point in my life I was taking SSRIs which turned me into a high-energy extrovert. Eventually I stopped taking the medication and I became more depressed and introverted and my interest waned.
At one point I removed everyone on my 300+ strong contacts list who wasn't an actual friend or close relative, and I ended up with 14 people.
Shortly afterwards my account was compromised and someone started posting a bunch of vulgar shit under my name, so I deleted it entirely and never looked back.
At this point the only thing that could compel me to create a new account is if a girl wanted me to for whatever reason, but we all know that's never going to happen.
