I've been neglecting the cleanliness of my room for 3 years and I think I'm sick because of it. Anyone else here had health issues from living in filth?
P.S haven't been to doctor because crippling anxiety/paranoia, pretty sure it's a symptom too.

I am lazy shit and like to draw so my desk is full of pencils, rulers, pens, scicors office supplies in general + stacks of paper.
It is real mess, but I always put it in order on saturday.

I usually go to my girlfriend's house instead of having her come over because of this. When she does come over (once a month or less), I spend hours cleaning beforehand, in order to transform it from "completely disgusting" to "not clean but not disgusting." She casually cleans while she's over, which I feel really bad about.
I am terrified that the owner of my apartment complex will catch me someday.

I saw myself going like this years ago, OP.
I've been housebound for nearly 9 years, have to take heavy tranquilizers to leave the home.
so what i did was about 6 years ago i dumped all my personal belongings, childhood shit, anything I was attached to but didn't use atleast once every 2 days and put it all in bags and dumped it because a filthy animal doesn't get to have human things/attachments etc. I'm not fit to have those cabinets with ornaments in and all that weird shit normal people do or collections of stuff.
I did this again a few months after and once again until my room was bare except for clothes that I wear and my hardware and my bed.
As a result, no mess ever again.
I would recommend any NEETS or anything to do this if you feel that pit in your being that lets you know that this may last for years. Take control of it now before it takes over later on.

There's different layers in different places. At the foot of my bed there is about 4 layers with towels and small blankets separating them. I can only imagine what the bottom one looks like.
In other places theres just like one layer. In the picture theres a bunch of legos under the first one.
