I had a friend from 6-10th grade
He was the only real friend I ever had
He lost a lot of weight during the summer and started working out and ended up playin basketball with some of the black kids at the rec center
He started hanging out with them more and more and really got into rap/hip hop
Before this we would hang out a couple times a week and talk on the phone every day and were inspeperable
Then he found cool new black friends some who were the best ball players in school so his status shot up
He still talked to me but had less time, I could tell he wasn't as interested
Eventually he would sit with them at lunch
After a while, it got to where we saw each other about once every 2 weeks and talked on the phone only one a week, and one day we got in a fight when I told him he was spending all his time with his cool new nigger friends.

He got mad and left.

After awkwardly avoiding each other for about a month one day at lunch he invited me to sit with him.
Feeling pity for myself and also thinking he was doing this out of guilt I said no and he just kind of walked away.

I slowly got him out of my life and developed new patterns and then just focused in getting through highs school.
Shortly before senior war ended though I started thinking about him again. Then more.
5 Years after graduation I dream about him sometimes still.

But I've never spoken to him since high. School ended.

I probably could have called him up shortly after we had kind of ended things and he probably would have accepted but I just didn't care at that point. The towards he end of senior year I started caring but thought it was too late even though it probably wasn't

Now though it's even way too long

He has some fancy office job
I work at a tele survey place asking people about their cable providers
People yell at me

Recently One of my office quasi friends was Getting rid of all his CDs and I saw some of the rap albums my friend had tried to get me to listen to

His faceberg is public and he doesn't seem to have any new friends (he was a friendless faggot like me in high school) and I don't know what happened. My behavior had been what it had been at the beginning of the school year and he had said/done a lot of the same crap.

I guess maybe he got annoyed by it though and he stopped doing it but for some reason didn't tell me he was annoyed with it and I didn't realize all this til a year later.

I'm not 100 percent sure but that's the best guess.

I haven't talked to him in any way for almost 2 years.

Neither of us have jobs and both dropped out of community college (I think he did anyway) but he just got sick of me I guess

DSotM is like the most normie of the Pink Floyd albums, admittedly it is great and I bet the majority of normies just listen to it to look like they have such great musical tastes and don't actually understand the music at all

Listen to some of Pink Floyds other albums some vary wildly in tone/execution but they are all at the same time recognizable as unique to the Pink Floyd sound.
