I read a book on ww2 when I was 10 and immediately fell in love with Nazi imagery and uniforms, so probably about that time.

Had a friend in high school who was absolutely obsessed with Hitler and Stalin. Would walk around halls at school doing the goose step and shit, nazi saluting people, taught himself some german on the side, memorized some of Hitler's speeches, called everyone comrade and a bunch of other crazy shit. Weird thing I don't remember teachers or anyone else every telling him to stop.
He grew out of it though, well, kind of. He because hardcore right-winger, loved fox news, especially O'Reilly. Last I heard he moved to Germany to go to med school or something.
I went through a Hitler-obsession phase around 11-12, read a lot of biographies and WWII books and stuff. I still knew he was bad, I guess I was just attracted to the idea of having the power and the will to bring the world to its knees.
