I actually refrained from using 'fuck' for my first year or two on 4chan, but then gave in to the sheer volume. I still refuse to use lexicalizations of slurred speech such as 'yeah' or 'nah' or religious terms such as 'hell' or 'damn' (even though am atheist) among others.

I used to talk with more eloquence and would often pepper my sentences with words that weren't all that commonly used but still applicable. Damn, I was ridiculed so relentlessly for that. I stopped talking like that for years and my vocab has gotten really bad. It has atrophied
