For NEETs, it really depends on where your money comes from. If you're self-funded like me, parents are irrelevant.
If you're on some kind of social assistance, again, parents are irrelevant.
But if you live with your folks and have no income of ANY kind coming in AND your folks are not going to leave you anything... well then, sir, time is ticking and you need to change it up.
