Someone who has known you for years but isn't family etc. If not maybe volunteer work in a charity shop or somewhere so you have a recent good reference for applications. Mine has always been in the shitter since childhood, I've always managed to keep a job, a girlfriend and a good group of friends until a few years ago. A few years ago I had a great year then I got an amazing girlfriend and a great group of friends but then I fucked it all up and last two years have just been spent getting fucked up.
Last few months though I've been trying to turn it all around bit by bit, eating healthy, trying to put weight on, building muscle, trying to get into college and trying to get a job. Just gotta take baby steps I guess and it all comes together eventually.
