well, if you take the stance, that consciousness is a spiritual phenonenon outside of the physical world, then yes, that would make sense.
But if you assume that it is a meta phenomenon arisins from physical brain activity this doesn't work. That would be like saying two separate people could have one consciousness. Just because the hemispheres operate side by side, they don't work together, they are completely seperated.
