> tfw you think you're falling in love with Lying Figure because he's perfected his ASMR voice and comedy
I-I didn't ask for these feels, I just wanted a comfy game to satiate my SH autism.
>>29035957
What?faggotblox
>>29035983
I was just watching to support another robot and then he started getting confident and now I'm confused.
>>29036089
why can't we have a good ps3 port for silent hill 3 ?
>>29036133
Because everyone wants to try their hand at making something better than 3. Usually by making muh rust, muh guilt games.
>>29036196
body horror should be reserved to pure japs, to be honest
Uh hey there, it's me LF. You're being silly I'm most definitely not perfect. Are you new to my videos or just started watching recently?
>>29036089
Can I ask what you mean by "started getting confident"? I'm not sure exactly. If it helps you should know I am literally pouring sweat the whole time I record because I'm nervous.
>>29035957
>>29036089
You need to watch out. He may not even be a true robot. This board is full of normies. I laughed at this video though.

Someone should make a sound webm of the part where the rap starts to where it ends.
>>29036700
They look like normies to you?
>>29036656
Your SH1 run is more lax than your SH2 run. The jokes have been hilarious, I liked reading the captions on the
> its a lying figure is bad at video games episode
still. it made my heart go dokidoki
>>29036700
I don't know if you saw my comfy SH threads but I'm a virgin waiting til a marriage, hoping to find the right woman one day so I think I'd be considered a robot. Bad family history, only one friend I met in grade school (although I made a good friend on here too).
>>29036764
I see I see, well thank you very much.
I have to say, this thread seems suspicious, like I'm sure to other people it will look like I made this thread about myself to shill for myself. So sorry to anyone if it looks like that, it's not the case.
I'm surprised any of my videos gained this much traction, honestly, it's only been a bit over 3 weeks and I have almost 100 subscribers already, right on the edge at 99. You've all been very, very kind to me and I appreciate it.
>>29036814
If you know how to make webms do what I said and post it in a ylyl thread on /gif/. I know /gif/ is mostly porn but sometimes a ylyl thread goes up there.
>>29036814
>Bad family history
What do you mean? I posted one of your videos on a /v/ thread btw.
>>29036842
Thanks for finding it funny but I've never made a webm before, plus I don't want to shill for myself over there, either.
>>29036858
Oh thank you, I appreciate it! I don't make money from the videos but I love getting new viewers because it's nice to have a good audience to share my passion for SH with.
I've told the story before in some threads on here but basically my mom was an alcoholic nightmare. So bad that my dad won sole custody with ease, and when I did see her she was usually:
>drunk
>emotionally abusive (told me she didn't care about me)
>drove drunk and got in a car crash with me in the car
Just bad stuff really.
>wah LF had a hard life :(
I dislike talking about myself or even posting my videos because it just seems like I'm shilling or telling a sob story, so I avoid the topic in any SH threads I make.
>>29036928
Alright f'am I see. Keep making these videos though some of us really like them. It's a lot better to watch a video then read the lore on a wiki. SH one of my favorite gaming series to. Probably in the top 10 for sure.
>>29036990
Well thank you for watching, and I just broke 100 subscribers, I'm guessing thanks to you posting it on /v/ so thanks friend!
Good taste by the way, and have a great night.
>>29036745
This, my version of SH would have both normies and robots
Both can be monsters in my book
>>29037130
I just wanted to say your in episode 6 of silent hill 1 your voice is so rough and gruff. Literally pure sex
>>29036814
LF, everyone knows you don't monetize and I didn't even post your video. I-I just have some feelings for you and some issues with my sexuality.
>>29037398
Thanks, I just had a sore throat that day but I'm glad you enjoyed it.
>>29037442
Cool cool. Well hey I don't have a problem with gay people, but I'm sorry to say I'm not gay. At least, I don't think.
>>29037398
Seconded. Why can't LF be sick all the time?

Everyone on here flatters me, I really don't get it. I actually did do speech therapy in elementary school, I've always thought my voice was weird so when people liked it I was genuinely surprised and relieved.
>>29037922
We support you LF, keep cranking out those loreplays. I do recommend keeping them below a hour because its too much lore to process at a time. For your future SH3 gameplay, I think 30-40 mins would be best.try getting sick too, sick LF is for sexual
>>29036089
this is alessa
>>29038115
Thank you man, and I will keep further lore-plays shorter. I record 1 in huge bursts because I have been researching big portions at a time, so my episodes end up being pretty long. SH3/SH4 are going to be 30-40 minutes each, unless they're final episodes in which it takes extra time to tie together all the loose ends.
I really do appreciate all the kindness you guys show me.
LF is not for sexual!
Unless you want me to be, I don't mind.
>>29038164
> unless you want me to be, I don't mind

I noticed a few things about you that I am curious to know. You mentioned that you are younger. You also have an appreciation for these older games that I feel is contrary to what typical youngfags such as yourself like. I constantly see fags on 4chan bash tank controls and the fixed/cinematic camera perspective (mostly in regards to the Resident Evil games).
So how exactly did you get into this series in the first place and would you like to see these style games (horror games with tank controls, fixed cameras, etc) somehow come back? When SH2 released I think I was around 12 years old but I'm guessing you were too young to even play it then. It's nice to see not all younger people shitting on old games all the time. Too many fags on this site do and it makes me feel too old to be here sometimes.
>>29038849
My first game was actually UT99 which my dad used to play like a mad man. Then Max Payne 1. After he realized I liked vidya, he broke out his old NES from the late 80s and we played it all the time. He wanted me to have a good foundation so we started with NES, then PS1, then Gamecube/PS2 and so on as they came out and I grew up. I remember my first RE games was actually REmake on the Gamecube, and after that I played RE2. I just really loved the horror atmosphere, and the controls seemed natural to me, with the differing camera angles it seemed natural that you would have a centralized/constant form of control. I never had difficulties with that, and I actually love the fixed cameras because they create some awesome camera angles/framing that I think is important to telling the story and providing atmosphere.
Anyways I started reading about SH2 when I was 8 or so, and I asked my dad for it for my 9th birthday, and I loved it. I played it all the time, and I read about it even more. I'm 19 now, for the record.
Anyways yeah, I think that roughly explains things. I just had/have a really great father.
Thanks for the curiosity, and I'm glad that someone else appreciates these games fully as well.
>>29038838
Pls don't flatter me.
Sorry for talking so much about myself, I usually wouldn't but it's not an SH thread so eh.
>>29038849
Sorry I didn't answer the second question. I'd love to see some revivals, but you just know they'd be dumbed down, and I don't know, they just wouldn't be as good. I actually hope/plan to get into game development and my dream is to make a game like this, but slightly updated. But yeah, I'd like to see the efforts, but I don't think they'd be as good. Plus, the whole walking simulator/jump scare craze has kind of killed what most people think of as "horror games".
Sorry if I'm scrambled in my thoughts, I'm typing this in between Overwatch matches.
>>29038970
Well your post explains a lot on why you can have an appreciation for older games. I'm assuming most younger fags these days grow up on and get fed these often shitty newer games with their cancerous microtransactions and being broken on release. Even worst are the phone games that I played way back in the day when they were called their proper name (flash games).
I may be sounding like a grandpa but even though games have mechanically gotten better to an extent the business practices and many old creation practices (such as the camera) have become not just abandoned in favor of "better controls" but also it has even been forgotten what these things did for older games since to the industry and most teens they just see it as "outdated ideas" in their minds. Final Fantasy games on PS1 are also a good example of this.
How can I contact you LF?
>>29039199
Kek, yeah phone games honestly are just flash games. Too bad so many people spend hundreds on them. Can't blame the companies for doing what's profitable.
Nah you don't sound like a grandpa, just a reasonable human being. But yeah I agree completely, I think that people write static cameras, tank controls, ammo conservation, and so on off as "outdated" when really they're just not used anymore. Other games became popular, games with more active controls, and since they became popular everyone assumed that the lesser used control/camera schemes were just obsolete, when really I would say underused.
When you really think about it, even back then there were never that many static camera horror games. RE, SH, and a few other stragglers but they were never huge. They've had dedicated followers, but they were never doing Call of Duty numbers. I would love to see a revival but I don't think it will ever be as big as it was, or even big necessarily. I think at most it could become another niche, if enough people dedicate themselves to making them.
Again, thoughts are all over the place but you get the idea. FF is great as a series but the turn based strategy now is, like you said, generally seen as outdated when really it's just underused.
>>29039374[email protected]is the email I use for anyone who needs technical help with the SH games so I guess there. By the way, I will post download links along with emulator settings since I believe in spreading these games as much as I can.
Here are the download links friends.

And in case someone's once again new to this PC gaming stuff: Use a program like PowerIso to mount the ISOs of 2 & 3, and then run their installers like always.
The SH1 is a PS1 rip that you gotta emulate.
The "sh2proxy" fix works as a no-cd crack as well, and is included in the pack.
In case you experience issues saving the game / not being able to edit the disp.ini, make sure the files aren't set to "Read Only", and run the game as Administrator.
If SH2 gets stuck in a black screen upon launch, close it and re-start it again.
here's the recommended emulator settings for SH1. Works great on all other games too.
If you need help with emulators/ISOs or just getting the games to run properly, email me at the address I gave in >>29039538

Never pham. I don't plan to stream ever, unless it's a special thing. Maybe I'd stream Silent Hill 2 or 3 on Halloween night if some of my viewers wanted but otherwise never.
Thanks for being nice to me, it really does mean something y'know.
>tfw I'm gay and I felt the same thing
Lying figure you need to change you're voice it legit makes me hard
>>29041789
You're just silly pham.
Thanks again for being so nice, all of you.
Gonna order that copy soon, SH poster. Might even be getting a job that lets me buy things soon, so I no longer have to use vista.
It's good to see you around, I think your Silent Hill threads here are very nice and fit so well with /r9k/.
>>29041789

That might be a good idea. Escaping neethood is good if it means getting rid of windows vista.
Thank you for the nice words, when I'm done with SH1 I'm going to make another comfy SH thread hope to see you there!

Made me kek. You all really are nuts, I'm serious.
>>29042037
It's all love, but I think we probably sexually harrassed you enough for tonight, I know I have.
'Night, looking forward to a comfy SH thread to for serious lore discussion soon, especially when you start SH3.
>>29042205
I think so, but I am really flattered.
Night m8, sleep tight and I'll see you there.
How much money would it cost to see your boy pucci lying figure?
What is with all the fan symbolism in Silent Hill?
>>29042751
Have to spoil something to explain it butthe spinning wheel/circle is a recurring theme, both in the valve that Valtiel turns, and in all the fans. This symbolizes the fact that the cult's goal is the rebirth of God, basically the cycle of life, since in the mythology their God was born, died, and now needs to be reborn.
>>29042617
You can't buy me unfortunately.
