You would need a HUGE pond to support fish desu.
They produce lots of waste and unlike frogs they can't leave the water.
Their waste will eventually poison them and the combination of fish waste and dead fish will create a septic hazard...
The reason people have little 50-100 gallon ponds with fish is that they have electric pump systems, bio filters, all kinds of technology supporting it.
IRL a 100 gallon pond will almost never have fish in it, unless it's just part of a much larger body of water.
Like in big swamps, you'll often find little ponds that are 100 gallons or smaller. But they're attached to the main swamp which is thousands and thousands of gallons.

It can't just be deep. It has to be deep as well as have a big surface area.
The reason depth alone isn't enough is that the gas exchange happens at the surface level of the water. The more surface area, the more oxygen in the water. Adding lots of depth will mean at the bottom there won't be oxygen. The dissolved oxygen in the water will be very low; the fish will suffocate.
If you go on a pond forum you can get a lot more detailed information. Really though trying to dig a tiny fish pond out in the sticks like this is going to be a ton of work for no payoff. The fish will most likely just get sick, die, and rot.
Freestanding fish ponds (without constantly-running life support systems like electric filters and frequent maintenance) need to be gigantic. A quarter of an acre in surface area and is pretty much the bare minimum for just a few bluegills.
