Only in my toes. Constantly stubbing/breaking them on shit and never going to a doctor has left me with several ingrown toenails.
I've been trying to kill my nailbiting habit for a year with the help of bitter nail polish and I still end up relapsing. I used to only apply it 3 times a week but I'm going to start applying it every morning without fail now.

Sorta. After you do it enough you stop feeling it and become unaware that you're doing serious damage to yourself. I only notice pain now is when its excruciating or it bleeds badly, and still the only solution I have is to go to a specialist that'll charge thousands for something I have to regularly go back for.

My nails suck, but they're not that bad ... yet, at least. I'm doing everything in my power to stop biting my nails recently at least. I still do from time to time, but I've cut down it greatly recently.

I haven't bitten them in about a week now. They still look ragged but they are looking much better. The bad part is that the skin around them is growing little pieces due to chewing the skin around the nail as well so I get the urge to bite it off to smooth the skin around the nail rather than a few tags.
I did cut what I could of them last night though. Also for some odd reason I never bite the nails on my ring finger.
