Why do nicotine """""addicts""""" act like quitting smoking is difficult?
It's not even fun once you realize the buzz never lasts longer than a minute or two

ayy lmao nice addicts phrasing, it's the purpose a cigarette gives you like waiting for a game to download or something, why I imagine they're especially nice in prison/wartime

I agree. Im not a nicotine addict or anything ( i know what being addicted is like) i just smoke whenever im walking somewhere and im bored or im waiting for something. I dont even feel a buzz from smoking cigars.

tangential response, but wouldn't anyone who's ever engaged in negative behavior 'consciously' pretty much know what addiction is like

I think theres a difference between engaging in doing something and being addicted to doing the exact same thing. I drink i smoke weed and i smoke cigars and im not addicted to either of them so i think theres a difference.

yeah, idk I read infinite jest lol I'm trying to flex, thinking about things like call of duty as like a slot machine and you know leapfrogging from there to other stuff. So like not just chemicals and physical dependenies

Yeah theres a really big difference from liking to do something and having to do something, its not all the same.
