I think Sowell's writings are a far better primer to race relations and analysis of the roots of purported racial differences than /pol/, particularly when there are quite prosperous ethnic groups whose average IQs are lower than African Americans, and vice versa.
The latter (/pol/) will quickly point to assorted studies as a case for genetic racial differences and ask no further questions, despite the studies offering the most compelling case for racial differences also indicating great leeway with respect to environmental (though, mind you, prenatal and early childhood) factors' potential to negate the gap. They then point to other studies to deny this environmental leeway.

The top fifth of blacks should have no issues prospering in society, while the top half are at least within the "average" range of whites, and likely to perform accordingly. There is no objective "better" or "worse" among populations beyond this.
