That reminds me of a friend i had in school whose name was Alfonso. Lower middle class, alfonso had one desire in life. To be rich. Damn it he wanted it so bad it almost became an obsession. I have no idea how he turned out in life, but his tale made me think back than... who the fuck in his right state of mind wouldn't want to be rich? Who wouldn't want to live sorrounded by gold and fanciness and comfort and never have to work again in your life? It's the dream of a human. But how many of us manage to make that dream come true? In the end of the day, everyone wants to be on top of the pyramid. But only one can get there, and for that he needs a base that sustains the whole structure. Most people will live their lifes in the base. Poor, or lower classed. But that doesn't mean they all will live in unhappiness and bitterness. Some will get over their capitalist desires... others will manage to live the best possible life with what they were given, fibding pleasure in small things that would seem worthless if compared to the deeds of a rich man, but these little things mean everything for the humble man.
What I'm trying to say is... your desire, your wish, is completely normal and humane, as it's impossible. Your only option is to get over it (or get used to it) and try to live the best possible life with the face given to you by the forces of the universe.
