I'd much rather just phase out gender specific pronouns altogether at this point. The English language doesn't attribute gender to anything else (like French, for example.) So it's not as if such a change would be particularly out of place or anything. Not to mention that such a change would streamline conversation as well as circumvent all this gender nonsense entirely.
