Depends on where you live. I loved the place where I was living but my mom decided to buy a super cheap house that's infested with cockroaches, falling apart, and in a bad neighborhood. All the suburbs that surround Detroit are pretty cool I think, there's a lot of things to do. Up here besides outdoors stuff it's incredibly boring.

i've been working a new job for about a month and a half and i keep making mistakes
i just want to be productive but it causes me to miss stuff. this frustrates my boss to no end. she gets agitated when i keep making these repeated mistakes. my best response most of the time is just "it slipped my mind, i'm sorry." and then she does this thing with her mouth and does what, i assume, is write an e-mail to *her* boss about how incompetent the new hire is.
i'm trying to improve, i really am. and i *have* made improvements to areas where i'd made mistakes before. i just get so anxious when i slip up once and then get chewed out it causes me to miss things because i'm hyperfocused on one task because i fear making a mistake. sometimes *too* focused on getting it done because I fuck *that* up, too, which just continues the cycle.
i've been off my meds a little while and i'm dealing with a bunch of mental health stuff but i feel like bringing that up would be too much of an excuse or have my boss tell me to quit now so i can get into a better state of mind for actual employment.
i've been drinking a lot more than usual this week and eating horribly lately. i have gender dyphoria on top of that because fuck you and i can't help but think that in spite of my fears of nonexistence death might be a good alternative to all the anxiety of crawing hand over breast, swimming, swimming, swimming through life.
i feel like i don't have an emotional connection about this with anyone but my ex and that fucks me up (because she's engaged to someone right now).

i work the assistant to a property manager for a public housing agency for a big metro city. right now, hendricks, but i'll drink anything that's a step above tanqueray.
there's a lot to learn at my job and honestly i love it (public service has been my goal since high school as nerdy as that is) in spite of the challenges, so i want to stick it out, whether that means promotion or termination.
i just wish that my boss would take a bit more of a human tone with me. right now it seems like she's just trying to be the hammer, where the job i was hired into is the anvil. every problem i might inadvertently cause has, i've discovered, a solution that takes about 5 (total) minutes out of her 8 hour day, so i guess i don't see what the big deal is.
that, to her, is a substantial disconnect, and one that i realize it at the core of my problems here.
i can't lose this job, don't want to lose this job, and need to try harder, i know. it just helps to have someone to talk to about it.

i've always found it's way easier to get by in the cold than it is the hot.
too cold? throw on a sweater, a jacket if you need it. wrap up in blankets and make some choco.
too hot? you can only strip off so much and blast the ac in so many rooms in your house (and even then you end up staying cooped up all day which is no good).
then again i was born and raised in minnesota so cold like doesn't bother me at all. honestly i get nostalgic for quiet 0F weather sometimes.

Well I woke up at `1. I dicked around until 3 and got ready for school. I arrived at school at around 5 after smoking two bowls on the freeway. I organized my third research paper and prepared for the final exam. From 7:30-9:20 I wrote an in class essay.
