I love it, unironically, ironically, pre-ironically and post-ironically. I especially like Communist Daughter and Holland 1945, but my personal favourite is the song In the Aeroplane over the Sea. All in all, it's a perfect album.
I really like the album, infact the title song is in my top 5 songs of all time. However I like the memes that cane from the album more than I liked the album itself.

Its one of those albums thats alright, but its nothing new or revolutionary. Everything it does has been done a million times, better.
Its just that people on 4chan are so stuck on looking at music from certain parts of the world and dont realise that theres a world of amazing music out there that they will never ever have the chance to hear. Partially because it is impossible to listen to all the stuff out in the world, but mostly because they are too stuck with these "classics".
Like I said, not a bad one, but I cant help but to feel that its overrated as fuck.

Memes aside, it's pretty great. Easy 8/10. Interesting lyrics, interesting instrumentation, interesting vocal delivery.
Avery Island is good too, it's got some great tracks but it doesn't flow together as well as ITAOTS
I listened to it a lot in 2011 when I had recently finished going through a 3 year period of too much cannabis and LSD and I listened to a lot of that type of music. Every few months I give it a listen to on a long car ride. I think it's a pretty good album, I never go into their earlier stuff because it was too low fi to listen to.
