Actually had this happen while I was still in High School

>Family didn't have insurance
>The treatment and medication for it started driving his family into debt
>No other way out, he put two shots in his gut to save his family from going into perpetual financial debt
>Called his dad with his final breaths and said to him, "Don't let mom find me"
>Mom got home first anyway, unbeknownst to her son's death
>Went to his funeral
>Realized that I truly didn't know who Chad was in a general sense, and decided not to judge based off of immature preconceived notions
