To be honest, calculus is actually pretty useful for complicated personal finance or taxes, as it deals largely with rate of change. Not talking about fucking triple integral or topology, but it can be applied.

Statistics is pretty useful for all non mcdonalds tier degrees. Calc sure you might not directly need it with some studies, but at least it will give you a logical way of thinking. Either way you are completely mistaken. It's actually the other way around.

for the record also the intro calculus you have to take is interesting too, but if you aren't into math it won't be as interesting as statistics, which i find really interesting.
